
Top 5 Ways To Be Kind
1. Smile
Just sharing a smile with someone can really brighten another's day! We know that face to face smiling, particularly with face masks may not be easy right now, but you can really tell if someone's smiling with their eyes....even if their smile is tucked away safely behind a mask. Or if you're on a virtual meeting, make sure to welcome everyone with a big smile.
Remember: If you see someone without a smile - share yours! A smile can really lift even the saddest of days.
2. Gratitude
Be kind to yourself as well as others! Practising gratitude every day is a great way to be thankful of the people in your life, but also what you have achieved and have in yourself...whether that be your creativity, your positive energy or your hard work. Take time out to think about (or even better write some thoughts down) on what and who you are grateful for!

3. Time
Show you care with your time. You don't always have to show you care with gifts, just spending time with someone or taking time out to notice someone and their efforts can go a long way!
4. Communicate
Whilst practising gratitude is a perfect way to spend 5 minutes with yourself, reach out to someone and let them know you're thinking about them! Particularly in today's circumstances where people can often feel isolated or lonely.
5. Reduce, Re-use and Recycle
Whilst being kind to ourselves and others, we can't forget what Leaves of the World's founding principles were: to be kind to the planet! So where you can, remember to recycle or re-use where you can to help take care of our planet!
